Colleen, I have posted an ad in reference to the Orphan Train that stopped in Oakland in 1904. It is under the tab "Blog/News." Let me know if that is what you were wanting to look for. Barb

Would there be an opportunity for me to visit the genie room to search for information about an orphan train stop in Oakland? Thank you!

I've misplaced Barbara Butcher's e-mail address and have something interesting to send her. I'm a member. John Altenburger

Calling all history buffs or people that have pictures or stories about Pottawattamie County Country Schools we need you! Come to Donia Days and share what you have with Kandis Cole-Skank. She will have maps and a scanner available so no one has to worry about getting their pictures back, you’ll be able to take them with you. Bonus is your pictures and information will go in a special book that can be purchased at a later date.  EDITOR NOTE:  Even though this poster is out-dated, Kandis is continuing her work on this book and would appreciate any pictures, stories, etc. that you could share with her!!
