Opal to Celebrate 100th Birthday!!
Just a gentle reminder that Opal Palmer is turning 100 years young on February 2, 2015. It would be wonderful to shower her with birthday cards as already suggested. Opal is our only charter member who is still a current member of BVGS. You can find her mailing address in the December 31, 2014 BVGS Newsletter.
This photo was taken of Opal when BVGS visited Centenniel No. 8 country school on June 5, 2006. What a fun field trip that was. So many of us had attended country schools in our "younger" days, and a number of our members had also taught at country schools.
There is to be a Birthday Party for Opal on Sunday, February 1st, 2015 at Oakland Manor at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited!! I'm sure Opal would love to see anyone who can come!!
