BVGS Field Trip Monday, April 1, 2024

Botna Valley Genealogy Society will travel to Elk Horn, Iowa to the Danish Museum Research Center on Monday, April 1st, 2024, for our April "meeting."  We will plan to tour the research center and then research from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  Following time at the Center, we will go to a local Elk Horn restaurant for lunch.  There is an admission charge to the facility.  Car pooling from Barb's home in Avoca will be available to interested individuals.  The Research Center staff are opening special for us.  If you decide you would like to join us, please let President Barb know.

Members are encouraged to work in the Genie Room any time the Library is open on projects that need done.  Check with your President if you have any questions as to what can be done.

Would there be an opportunity for me to visit the genie room to search for information about an orphan train stop in Oakland? Thank you!
